Welcome to the Division of Health Economics and Modeling (HEM). Our division serves as a resource for the Augusta University community and beyond. The HEM division was created in response to the growing need among medical professionals, health care researchers and students for support in health economic evaluations and health care modeling. Se hela listan på heor.co.uk The second part of the module focuses on the approaches for, and benefits of, using Simul8 to develop health economic models as an alternative to other approaches such as cohort Markov modelling. Students will develop an individual-level cost-effectiveness model in Simul8, including the incorporation of discounting and probabilistic sensitivity analysis (PSA). Participants will build mock health economic models, progressively building on their skills throughout the course.
